I joined Moore Barlow in 2019 as the in-house designer where I took responsibility for the brand’s graphic language while the firm was still known as Moore Blatch. I was responsible for a merger-led rebranding effort that coincided with the arrival of COVID-19 and our subsequent switch to remote working.
During the pandemic I designed the new look and brand toolkit for the merged firm's new identity. I rolled out the new style across all of the firm’s communications - including wireframes for the website - and deployed a full suite of print materials in support of the business development leads and individual specialist teams.
The firm grew by 50% total headcount during the merger, but profit was at 200% two years after the rebrand.

I also provided a guiding hand to the interior design team and produced exterior and interior signage in line with the new aesthetic. I advised on photography, produced social media & email content and defined the digital video style.
An important part of my role was mentoring junior members of the marketing function - they had done an admirable job before I joined but were not very experienced in design or document production in particular. My guidance and scalable systems I implemented enabled them to deliver much faster against business needs as a team, even after my departure.
