The impact
of video
It's really impossible to understate just how powerful video as a medium can be in the crowded world of digital marketing. One of my longstanding mantras in my work is to try and bring humans and their experiences to the forefront - we are a species of storytellers, in a tradition that goes back for thousands of generations to our very earliest societies. I believe we should lean into that history.
I have an uncanny ability to help people relax in front of a camera which I use to get the most out of them in an interview or livestreamed setting. On top of that I am a skilled editor, able to cut together information, motion and music to deliver compelling messaging in a memorable format.
Some of these campaigns saw real results. At Saga, my Colleague Stories content (as seen here with Alex the Army Reservist) helped us attain an engagement score of 84 - one of the highest of any internal comms platform using Workplace. I also contributed to a Masked Singer competition we ran over Christmas which was consistently our most engaged-with content of the year.
